Every load we ship includes its lab report. We test protein, fiber, sugars, and minerals before hay hits a trailer so you know exactly what you're feeding.
No, we never dye our hay. The bright green color comes from the Nevada growing conditions. The high desert climate has very low humidity, so hay dries quickly in the field without bleaching or losing color. Irrigation keeps the plants healthy and green through the growing season. What you see is the natural result of premium growing conditions.
This is our finest western second-cut timothy, hand-selected lot by lot for leaf-to-stem ratio and consistency from bale to bale. That extra selection is why it is our go-to show-barn hay: leafy, soft, and consistent enough that you can count on the same quality load after load.
It is a strong everyday forage for most adult horses, and the consistency makes it especially popular with show and performance barns that want the same hay every time. The fine, leafy character also makes it appealing to picky eaters.
Yes. This product has published lab results from Equi-Analytical Laboratories, and you can download the test right from this page. We test every lot so you always know the protein, fiber, and sugar values of what you are feeding.
For Florida buyers, freight is the single biggest driver of hay price, and a top-tier hay like this is also cut earlier and selected more carefully, which means less tonnage but higher quality per bale. The payoff is that horses clean it up with little waste, so a more expensive bale that gets fully eaten often costs less in the end than a cheap bale that ends up in the dumpster.
