Quality you can verify
You buy on the numbers, not adjectives. Every lot we sell is tested by Equi-Analytical Laboratories, so you know the protein, fiber (ADF/NDF), and sugar levels of the actual hay going on your truck. We will share the lab report for the lot you are quoting before you confirm the load.
Why buy from us
Most suppliers resell. We grow the bulk of our hay on our own high-desert farms in Nevada and bring in select loads from Alberta, Canada. Fewer hands between the field and your operation.
Every lot is tested by Equi-Analytical. At truckload volume, that means consistent, documented quality, not a guess on what showed up.
Farmers Direct is a family-owned, fifth-generation farm in Williston, FL. You deal with people who know hay and stand behind the load.
How pricing works
We do not post a per-ton price because four things move it. Tell us these in your RFQ and we will come back with a real number.
Variety and grade
Timothy, alfalfa, orchard, teff, and blends each price differently, and the cutting and test numbers move the number.
Volume and cadence
A single load prices differently than a standing monthly order. Tell us how much and how often.
Destination and freight
We quote freight to your delivery point. The lane and distance drive the trucking portion of the load.
Season and supply
Hay is a crop. Timing within the season affects availability and price on certain varieties.
Submit your RFQ
Variety, volume, cadence, and destination. Takes a minute.
We quote the load
Hay plus freight to your point, with the lab report for the lot.
We schedule the truck
Approve the quote and we book the load and confirm timing.

Common questions
Wholesale is sold by the full truckload: a 53-foot trailer that runs up to 22 tons (typically 18 to 22, depending on the hay type and bale size), about 500 bales. For smaller quantities within Florida, see our standard local delivery instead.
Per load. The number comes from the hay variety and grade, the volume and how often you order, and the freight to your destination. Send an RFQ with those details and we will come back with a quote.
Tell us your destination and we will quote the freight to get the load there. If you prefer to arrange your own trucking from our Williston, FL location, that works too. Note your preference in the RFQ and we will price it both ways if helpful.

Yes. Many of our wholesale buyers order on a recurring schedule. If you need consistent volume of a specific variety, tell us your cadence in the RFQ and we will talk through reliable supply.
