Delivery across North Central Florida or pickup at our Williston farm. How delivery works.
Timothy 1st cut hay, Nevada-grown, in clean 3-string bales. Low sugar, fine stem, with enough protein to fuel most adult horses at maintenance or in light work. First cutting timothy is more stem and less leaf than second cut, which makes it the right choice for horses that need a lower-calorie, higher-fiber ration without tipping into metabolic trouble. Lab-tested every lot. A mainstay of the Ropp family's Nevada operation and the most-ordered hay at our Williston store. Delivered across Ocala, Gainesville, Dunnellon, Hernando, Belleview, and the rest of our Central Florida service area, with shipping-container bulk storage on 130-bale orders. If you're running a multi-horse pasture and want one hay to feed everyone, timothy 1st cut is the default answer.
“Aside from having some of the nicest, most reasonably priced hay around, I love the folks here. They are knowledgeable, kind, and funny! They make buying hay in Ocala fun!”

Every load we ship includes its lab report. We test protein, fiber, sugars, and minerals before hay hits a trailer so you know exactly what you're feeding.
No, we never dye our hay. The bright green color comes from the Nevada growing conditions. The high desert climate has very low humidity, so hay dries quickly in the field without bleaching or losing color. Irrigation keeps the plants healthy and green through the growing season. What you see is the natural result of premium growing conditions.
First cut timothy is harvested first in the growing season. It has more stem, higher fiber, and lower protein. It is great for easy keepers or horses that need to lose weight because they chew longer for fewer calories. Second cut is harvested later. It is leafier, softer, finer-stemmed, and higher in protein and digestible energy. Most horse owners prefer 2nd cut because horses love it and it flakes apart beautifully. Both are excellent hay, just different nutritional profiles.
