Farmers Direct Hay and Feed is a family-run feed store at 21091 NE US Hwy 27, Williston, FL 32696, open Mon to Fri 9am - 5:30pm, Sat 9am - 2:30pm, closed Sun. We carry horse, goat and poultry feed from Hallway Feeds, Sentinel, Kentucky Equine Research, Blue Seal, Central States and Summit, alongside hay we grow ourselves, shavings, straw, salt and mineral blocks and fly spray. We sell to the public with no minimum, load your truck for you, and deliver across North Central Florida for $35 flat inside 25 miles and $40 flat from 25 to 40 miles.
What you will find on the shelf
We are a hay and feed store, in that order. The hay is what we grow and haul ourselves. The feed is what we stock so you are not making a second stop.
Horse feed
Hallway Feeds, Sentinel Blue Ribbon, Kentucky Equine Research and Blue Seal, covering foals through seniors and working horses.
Poultry and game bird
Chick starter through layer rations, plus scratch grain. Blue Seal and Central States both run deep poultry lines.
Goat and livestock
Dairy goat pellet and textured feed, plus mixed-herd staples that suit cattle and sheep as readily as goats.
Hay, by the bale or the container
Alfalfa, timothy, orchard grass, teff and blends. Lab-tested by the lot, and most of it grown on our own Nevada farm.
Shavings and bedding
Large flake, fine and mini flake shavings for everyday stalls and show barns, plus bright low-dust straw.
Salt, minerals and fly control
Plain salt bricks, trace-mineral bricks, Himalayan rope blocks and Embrace Equine fly spray.

Most feed stores buy their hay from whoever has it that week. Most of ours comes off our own farm in Nevada, and what we cannot grow we buy from Nevada, Idaho, Utah and the surrounding western states, for the irrigation and the dry climate. Every lot goes to Equi-Analytical for testing and the report ships with the load.

About 22 miles west of Ocala and 25 miles southwest of Gainesville, on US Highway 27. There is room to turn a truck and trailer around in the yard, and our crew loads for you.

Where is your feed store?
We are at 21091 NE US Hwy 27 in Williston, FL 32696, in Levy County, about 22 miles west of Ocala and 25 miles southwest of Gainesville. Pull straight into the yard, the office is the building behind the Farmers Direct sign on the gate.
What are your hours?
We are open Mon to Fri 9am - 5:30pm, Sat 9am - 2:30pm, closed Sun, Eastern. Closing Sunday is a decision the owners made so the crew is home with their families, and it is not going to change.
What feed brands do you carry?
Hallway Feeds, Sentinel (the Blue Ribbon line), Kentucky Equine Research, Blue Seal, Central States and Summit forage pellets. Between them they cover horses, goats, poultry and mixed herds. Call us for current stock on a specific bag before you drive out.
Do I need to order ahead, or can I just show up?
Just show up. Walk-in pickup is welcome during store hours and there is no minimum at the counter, single bale or single bag is fine. If you want a large quantity held or loaded ready for you, call ahead and we will have it waiting.
Do you deliver, or is it pickup only?
Both. Pickup at the Williston store is always an option. We also deliver across North Central Florida: $35 flat inside 25 miles, $40 flat from 25 to 40 miles, and a custom quote beyond that. Bulk hay by the shipping container is delivered free up to 40 miles.
Do you load it for me?
Yes. Our yard crew loads your truck or trailer. Tell whoever is at the counter what you are driving and they will handle it.
