Delivery across North Central Florida or pickup at our Williston farm. How delivery works.
Alfalfa big bales are our bulk option for barns, pastures, and operations that go through a lot of forage and want to buy by the ton instead of one bale at a time. These are large alfalfa bales tied with three plastic strings, and they are not double-compressed, so what you load is the full, fluffed bale. We can supply them as full bales of roughly twelve hundred pounds, or cut a big bale in half into roughly six-hundred-pound halves when a full bale is more than you can move or store at once. Pricing is per ton, so you pay for the actual weight of forage you take home.
This is high-quality premium alfalfa, the same caliber of hay our customers know us for, just packaged for volume feeding. It is a strong fit for pastures with covered feeders, where a big bale can sit out and feed a group of horses or cattle for an extended stretch while staying protected from the weather. Alfalfa is a leafy, protein-rich legume, which makes it a good match for hard keepers, growing and performance horses, broodmares, and cattle that need the extra energy and protein a grass hay alone will not provide.
Like all of the hay we sell, our alfalfa is direct-source with no middleman, and every lot is lab-tested by Equi-Analytical Laboratories so you know what you are feeding. Because these are large bales, plan your storage and handling ahead of time: keep them in a dry, well-ventilated, covered space off bare ground, since Florida heat and humidity are hard on any hay stored outside under a tarp. If you want to talk through whether full or half bales fit your setup, how many you go through in a season, or delivery within our North Central Florida service area, call us at (352) 528-1255 and we will help you size the order.
“Best place around to buy hay. The owner and employees are the best. Very helpful, accommodating even when I came late they still got me hay. Can't say enough about this place.”

Yes, you can. They are roughly 600 pounds. We take a big bale and cut them in half. These are not double compressed bales. They have three plastic strings around them. Great for putting in to pasture that have covered feeders.
Alfalfa big bales are priced per ton, so you pay for the actual weight you take home rather than a flat per-bale price. A full bale runs roughly twelve hundred pounds and a half bale roughly six hundred pounds. Call us for current per-ton pricing and availability.
Keep big bales in a dry, well-ventilated, covered space and up off bare ground. Florida heat and humidity are hard on any hay stored outside under a tarp, where trapped moisture leads to faster molding, so a covered, airy spot makes a big bale last much longer.
Alfalfa is a leafy, protein-rich legume that suits hard keepers, growing and performance horses, broodmares, and cattle that need extra energy and protein. Big bales paired with covered pasture feeders are an efficient way to feed a group.
We deliver within our North Central Florida service area. Because big bales are heavy and bulky, call us at (352) 528-1255 to talk through quantity, delivery, and how to handle them at your place before you order.
